Less than one week after the main 90 Great Hampton St lift was repeatedly damaged and repaired, it has suffered an(other) incident of vandalism/misuse – on the 3rd floor this morning.

Engineers have been called out and attended, but the door equipment has been damaged by considerable force – powerful enough to bend the steel work and the supporting steel brackets. The doors and fixings have been bent out of line and components sheared off – components replaced less than a week ago.

We will be checking CCTV, and with letting agents/solicitors regarding people moving in and out to try to trace the culprits, to recharge the thousands of pounds of damage done. We will also be informing the police. Any information should be sent to hoe@firstnet.biz, confidentially/anonymously if required.

We will update you as soon as we have a repair date. Thank you.
